HAPPINESS WORKSHOP

The state of personal quality and happiness affects both personal and professional relations of an individual. As a result of the daily difficulties and problems, the heavy burden of stress on human beings causes some psychological and physiological problems, even fatal illnesses. The Happiness Workshop of QOMER creates a relaxing atmosphere for the participants and influences the productivity of them. Thus, communication channels are opened, misunderstandings are solved, and the needful synergy is created. It is organized in two different type sessions. For;

  1. individual participation,
  2. organizational (collective) participation.

HAPPINESS WORKSHOP-1 (For Personal Participation)

 

Aim: In order to improve happiness, peace and productivity, it aims at sharing the “personal quality startegies” of Bonstingl (2005). Through self-analysis and self-assessment techniques, participants know themselves; through pair- and group-work they internalize communication strategies and empathy; and through team-work they learn to solve problems in a democratic and participatory manner. The program includes medidation and relaxation techniques to remove anger and hatred.

 

Number of participants: 20

Duration: 1 Day (3 + 3 hours)

Trainer: Dr.Hayal Köksal

Content:

•  Session: Personal quality strategies, Self-analysis and self-assessment techniques, the practice of assisting to the “core”.

•  Session: Team-based quality principles, learning about empathy, Problem-solving techniques and provoking creativity, dealing with anger, ways of feeling happy and satisfied in personal life and professional life.

 

HAPPINESS WORKSHOP-2 (For Organizational Participation)

Aim: It is given as an in-house training to improve professional satisfaction, to create synergy among the staff, and to improve the productivity. It is also designed upon the needs of the organization specifically. It starts after conducting a detailed needs-assessment study in the organization.

Content: As a result of the needs- assessment , the following activities are recommended:

•  Happiness Workshop-1

•  Synergy road-mapping

•  Motivation, communication skills and creativity

•  İmece Circles training, formation of teams, and problem solving within and outside the organization.

•  Conducting an “In-house mentorship” and “career improvement planning” on the way of establishing organizational culture.
